2008-2009 Season Pass Purchase Option

Season Pass Cancellation Waiver is offered as an Option when you purchase your Season Pass for the 2008-2009 winter season.

Schedule of Coverage

Coverage begins on the date the Waiver is purchased and terminates at the conclusion of the season for which the Season Pass is purchased.

DESCRIPTION OF COVERAGE

Prior to the end of the ski season, Shames Mountain Ski Corporation will reimburse a percentage of the Season Pass cost according to the Schedule of Coverage in the event of:

1.  injury, sickness or death of an Insured which prevents participation in the  

    sport for at least 30 consecutive days; or

2.  the transfer of an Insured by his/her immediate employer, with whom he/she was employed at the time of the purchase of the insurance, which necessitates the relocation of his/her principal residence outside a reasonably accessible radius of the ski area at which he/she is a Season Pass holder, provided the date of the transfer is at least 45 days after the purchase of the Season Pass, and the Insurer is advised within 15 days of notification by the employer.

The pro-rated share of the cost of the Season Pass for non-participation commencing within:

Pre-Existing Condition
Any condition for which the Waiver Purchaser received treatment in the 180 days prior to the purchase date of the Season Pass. (Important Note – A pre-existing exclusion may apply to medical conditions and/or symptoms that existed prior to the purchase of your Season Pass. Check to see how this applies to you and how it related to your date of purchase.)
Exceptions
This insurance does not cover loss caused or contributed to by:
1.  intentionally self-inflicted injury;

2.  emotional disorders or pre-existing conditions unless the Insured is

     hospitalized;

3.  any injury or sickness that does not prevent participation in the sport for

     which the pass was purchased;

4.   pregnancy;

5.  any losses resulting from electronic date recognition;

6.  or loss for any event which at the time of purchase, could reasonably have

     been expected to occur.

Corporate Passes

The Corporate Pass – for the company that plans! Treat your employees, sales reps, family and friends to a day on the slopes at Shames – with your Corporate Pass.  For only $1049 plus GST, you receive two lift passes good for every day of this ski/snowboard season.  These passes are totally transferable (non-photo) at your discretion.
